FV Selects

Fraser Valley Selects is a partnership program between Abbotsford Soccer Association, Abbotsford United SC, Aldergrove Youth Soccer Association, Chilliwack FC, Preston GM Langley FC and Langley United Soccer Association. This program has a direct tie to the Fraser Valley Premier BCSPL program.

Technical Directors

Ian Knight and Glenn Wilson, will oversee the implementation of the Selects Program.

Request To Be Evaluated For a FV Select Team

 


Player Info: U14 (04) / U15 (03) / U16 (02) / U17 (01)

Players wishing to receive an evaluation within an existing FV Selects team, will be invited to attend the current training program of the respective age group/team. New applicants will be offered a maximum of up to three (3) training sessions, by way of evaluation. Following this period of evaluation, players will either receive an offer to attend a final Invitation/Team Selection Session or, will be released from the process.

*New player applications are accepted for the period Feb 20thth 2017 until, Friday 31st March 2017.

Invitation/Team Selection Session

All Players asked to attend the Invitation/Team Selection Session, for their respective age group/team, will be required to register online and submit a payment of $150. This fee is used as a security deposit to ensure players attending are serious about attaining & committing to the FV Selects program.

  • Players accepting of a place will have $150 deducted from their registration fee.
  • Players released after this session will receive a full refund of the $150.
  • Players offered a spot and rejecting, will lose their $150.

Registration Fee Prior to June 1st is $1100 effective August 1st $1150 and Includes:

Players selected to FV Selects Metro teams for the 2017/18 Season must understand that participation in the spring phase of the programming is mandatory. By including the spring phase we are now offering a 10 month program which comes close to matching the BCSPL level in terms of training and playing frequency. This helps maintain a players rate of development so that transition to BCSPL for some that aspire to it is more easily achieved.
